Born and raised in Fredericktown, OH, Steven grew up in the farming community. Riding along in tractor cabs and combines during harvest season helped spark his interest in agricultural machinery. His natural knack for tinkering on equipment took on new life when he bought his first lathe and box welder in high school. Along with the new tools came an elevated passion for creativity, diagnosing problems and fixing them, and leaving things better than he found them. Before long, his long-held dream of being a farmer turned into a dream of serving farmers and getting to interact with them every day.

Following graduation from high school and earning his certified machinist certificate, Steven worked at a local John Deere dealer as a road technician and earned his associate’s degree at a dedicated John Deere technician training school. This led to an opportunity to travel the country in their experimental program, testing and fixing new equipment throughout the United States.

At God’s calling to return to his hometown and serve the local community, Steven came back to Fredericktown, upgraded and expanded his equipment, and laid the foundation for what is now Landgraph Company, LLC. He realized the need for independent mechanics who could provide fast, high quality, affordable service. Ever since, God has blessed Steven’s efforts in unimaginable ways and to Him belongs all the the glory.
